Touring Rock Legends?  These boys and girls are rockin' worldwide 24 x 7, 365 days a year... along with tens of millions of the rest of us.  Yep, we've all picked up that light weight black plastic Gibson and tried to follow along with the Guitar Hero muscle-bound guys and shapely-figured girls onstage in front of us.  And tried... and tried... and tried... After all this is a rhythm game, you do have to follow the dots kiddies.  Red, yellow, blue... keep up now... gotta fill up your Rock Meter and Star Power Meter.  Its definitely addicting and has been since 2005 when it was released by game developers Harmonix.  Mulitple versions of Guitar Hero quickly followed with Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (here's where Neversoft took over), Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, and Guitar Hero World Tour...

Here's a little breakdown of the action to date:  Guitar Hero: November 1, 2005; 30 songs; Multi-character; the original  Guitar Hero II: April 3, 2007; 55 songs; choose Rhythm, Lead, or Bass; introduced Multi-player  Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s: July 24, 2007; 30 songs; different characters whose clothes are too tight and their hair is spiked too big  Guitar Hero III: October 28, 2007; started including wireless guitars with the game; allows you to jam battle against some of the greatest guitar legends  Guitar Hero Aerosmith: June 29, 2008; be Joe Perry from High School to the Stadium; about 2/3 Aerosmith originals  Guitar Hero World Tour: October 26, 2008; 86 songs and unlimited content from the Guitar Hero community to download; added a slider to a redesigned guitar controller; play by yourself, with a band, or even have up to 4 of your friends doing a "Battle of the Bands" thing... and what's next?
